Cut a 8 inch length of Chod filament.
Pass through front side of your hook.
Position a 1 inch section on the back of your hook, this is for your bait screw/ring.
Start a knotless knot,4 turns around the shank is normally ample.
Pass through the back of eye and pull down to tighten the knot to the hook.
Pop on the bait screw/rig ring onto your tag end.
Pop tag end back through eye of the hook, Form your desired loop (normally around 3mm), cut off the excess and blob with a lighter.
It should now look like this below.
Adjust the amount of filament for the height/length (between 2 & 6 inches) of your chod and Secure to your ringed swivel using a Two turn blood knot.
Now pull the rig tight in rig pullers to set the knots.
Either steam or use friction off finger and thumb to create your desired bend of the Chod.
Apply pop up ,for this demo we have used a bait screw.
Test the rig in the margin & add Tungsten putty around the knot of the swivel if the pop up is highly buoyant.
The rig is now finished and ready to slide onto your leader.
