Etang Lagon in Île-de-France

In the basin of the River Seine, about an hour south-east of Paris, Richard and his team realized a long-cherished dream: to realize a ‘super-deluxe’ holiday domain of more than 60 acres! A successful entrepreneur, he has lived and worked in this area all his life, and when some former gravel pits along the Canal de Bray-sur-Seine á la Tombe came up for sale, he seized the opportunity and spared no expense to realize a beautiful holiday domain where the unique carp stock can only be fished for a few weeks a year… a UNIQUE opportunity!

Paris Carp Fishing has expanded the original stock of Etang Lagon with around 25 carp, including a 66lb mirror carp, 5 44lb+ carp and an average weight of around 33lb. Some beautiful koi have also been released on the payment water. A white koi called Béluga is almost 1 meter long and is currently the largest koi on the water. The first guests to this beautiful big fish also caught some bream, tench and smaller carp (probably successful spawning from previous years). The fish that have since been caught are all stunners. Also in the winter of 2020/2021 there was an extra stocking on Etang Lagon with large carp in order to further increase the numbers of ‘big fish’. Etang Lagon is certainly not runslake, it is a challenging carp lake where the avid carp angler has a good chance of catching some beautiful carp, and where you can enjoy peace, space, luxury and privacy (possibly together with family or friends).

Etang Lagon contains a lot of natural food for carp such as: bloodworm, snails and crustaceans. We advise you to take this into account and to adjust your bait choice accordingly. The crayfish can be active especially during the summer months. We advise you to wrap boilies well (e.g. with Korda Wrap) and/or to fish with tiger nuts or hardened and/or artificial baits and a hook link made of stiff hooklink material so that your presentation stays in place even after it has been touched by crayfish.

It is necessary to have access to a boat in order to be able to play the fish from the boat and/or to free fish, given the obstacles. Wearing a life jacket on the boat is mandatory at all times.
