Wood Pool Mid Kent Fisheries in Kent

Wood Pool, Faversham, is the easier of the two lakes with lots of double figure carp plus good numbers of twenties. It has a good stock of bream to double figures and number of high single tench. It is an ideal venue for both the general course angler, and carp angler.

The wood pool is a stunning little late, with easy access to the lake, makes for a goof venue for those who can not walk far to their swim, or those who rely on quick over nighters before work. This venue will get weedy during the summer months, however, there are plenty of spots in-between the shoulders of weed which the carp love to feed in.

The venue did once hold a bad name, but with good management, and a good care plan in place, Mid Kent Fisheries have completely turned the complex around.

The bailiff from the Ham Road Complex will be enforcing the rules on this venue. Please check the rules before fishing any of our waters, if your found to be breaking the rules, you will face disciplinary action, wish could lead to a ban.

This venue is available on a single ticket with the Mill Pool, and the Gold Ticket. A key is required for this venue.

Please keep gates locked at all times, this is private property, and is not open to the public. We urge anyone who suspects  suspicious activity to be reported to either a bailiff or Chris (fishery manager).

We do not have a close season on this venue; however, please expect swim/lake closures while the fish are spawning.  Feel free to contact us before you travel to the lakes to ensure they are open as usual.
