Toffee is one of the most commonly used sweet substances in the world today for both its simplicity and enjoyable flavour. Toffee is created by caramelising brown sugar alongside butter and sometimes flour to create a hard yet chewy sweet style food that is used in a multitude of different ways. It is extremely popular in the world of confectionery with plenty of chocolate bars using it as an ingredient and it can be found in ice cream, yoghurt, cheesecakes and anything else sweet based. It is one of the most used sweet style substances around today. Originating in England, it is thought that despite its popularity elsewhere, it remains a UK favourite. Its dark brown complexion and almost solid style body make it rather unique when compared to other sweet style confectionery and even now it is part of many chocolate boxes as an iconic addition.

Toffee fishing flavours are strong and sweet with notes of butter and caramel with a more formed style flavour. They are extremely sweet yet creamy in their profile with little notes of butter also giving this quite the complex taste. Aroma wise toffee is extremely strong in sweet notes with the brown sugar style giving it a more deeper scent than a lighter white sugar inspired sweet flavour. Toffee flavoured fishing concentrates are excellent in making fishing bait such as boilies, pop ups, groundbait additive and as part of a spod mix.
